We are the Killdeer Area Dollars for Scholars^®, an affiliate chapter of Scholarship America^®.

We are a group of citizens in the Killdeer community who believe firmly in the Dollars for Scholars program. Our purpose is to expand access to higher education for students in the Killdeer Area by promoting the Dollars for Scholars program, developing an operational structure, raising funds for student aid distribution, and distributing awards in a fair and nondiscriminatory basis. Our Chapter operates in a manner consistent with the by-laws, legal status, policies and procedures of Scholarship America.

Our mission is to provide access to postsecondary education by providing scholarship funds to qualifying graduating seniors of Killdeer Public School. We recognize that the cost of postsecondary education is enormous and continues to escalate, and by giving assistance to students continuing on with a postsecondary education, we can and will make a difference in their lives.
